Spark Advance?

Sorry if there is some info on this already but I couldn't find it.

Does anyone know how many degrees the spark advance should be at idle and WOT for an H22A4?

Ive been looking at mine and it will jump from below 15 at wot to almost 50 when cruising, and correct me if i'm wrong but that doesn't seem right.

Re: Spark Advance?

I would actually like to know this too

By the way, how can you tell where your spark advance is at while at wot and cruising? OBDII handtool?

Re: Spark Advance?

under acceleration your timing should advance.. cruising it should be lower than what it is at @ WOT so yes to me it seems to be off..compare your timing with what it should be stock at all RPM's (think its in the helms manual) if not google does wonders and knows everything then adjust accordingly but to answer your question yes it seems wrong to me
