Turbo Kit for my Prelude

I have a 2000 Honda Prelude and want to get the Rev Hard Stage 2 turbo kit and run 7 psi safely on stock engine. Does anybody else have a turbo and how is it like driving the car with a turbo? How would it feel driving a car with 7-8lbs of boost on stock engine? anyone with a turbo would be very helpful

Re: Turbo Kit for my Prelude

If anyone took the time to answer you, they would say it's stupid to boost an engine that isn't built.

Re: Turbo Kit for my Prelude

No one is gonna say that. We have members here that are boosted with completely stock internals. Neck's setup is getting him 247whp I believe and it's pretty reliable for him. And when you're talking about boost and our motors, the pounds you're running is irrelevant. It all comes down to how much air you're flowing and how much power you're making.

Re: Turbo Kit for my Prelude

It has been proven time and time again that you can run around 7psi on stock internals, provided the engine was in a good condition when it was boosted.

Before asking anything else, read the stickies at the top of the Boost forum. Start with this one.
So, you wanna go turbo, huh?
