Re: need help asap with power steeing line

You shouldn't need to remove anything. it is in a tight spot right above the steering rack, but it is do-able. I only had a hard time removing the fitting to the steering rack, since shes at 198k, it was rusted on there pretty well. I had to cut off the line so I could get a socket on the end of the fitting, rather than stripping it with a line wrench, it Came out much easier. I'd assume you have a replacement hose already?

My high pressure line has a little pin size hole in it and fluid keeps dripping every so often. I was looking for replacement hoses and where can i find it for the cheapest price????

Those things are over $200. Also, some guy looked at it and told me i can JB weld it for the time being. is this a good idea?

Re: need help asap with power steeing line

I picked my up from rockauto.com, don't remember how much but they are about $200+. It jb weld might get you through for a short time but it will eventually leak again. It is high pressure so depending where it is it will make the hole bigger. I'd just take off the belt for the ps pump and go without assist until you get a new one. Doesn't hurt anything and keeps your engine bay cleaner. Oem Honda ps fluid is non-corrosive if you decide to keep it running.
