thinking about a different horn

I rather hate the cheap sound honda horns have. I have been searching for nice and a little deeper tone horns. I have settled on the PIAA 400Hz + 500Hz horn.

Has anyone installed better horns on their 5th gen?

Videos?

Thanks,
Brad

I had a 1940s Claxton on mine, but we never got around to hooking it up. So in answer to your question...no.

Re: thinking about a different horn

Ive been wanting to install the two old Chevy horns... LOL! That will get someone's attention.

they are a simple one wire (+) connection, the body, or frame, of the unit is the ground to chassis.
If you are going with an air horn you will need a compressor. Any good kit will come with everything you need to make it work. If you are worried about the horn pulling too much current you can always use a simple SPST Relay and pull power from a fused line at the battery.
There are many ways to do this. Decide which one you are going to go with and we will continue from there.

FYI: You tube has a bunch of videos for just about anyone you wanna hear.
