Re: front end conversions

Short answer --> nothing.

Long answer --> you can make anything work with money. There's tonnes of conversions been done, but AFAIK none of them are off the shelf kits.

In future please refer to sig pic.

Re: front end conversions

I know Colin is gonna smack me, but you could just do the hood extension deal...where you add extensions to the corners of the hood so it covers up the headlights a little bit. If you search you can find it. Just a suggestion since I know you're looking for ideas.

Re: front end conversions

Why would I kill you? He's asked for suggestions, you've given him a couple. Call me conservative though, but I'm yet to see a front end conversion I like. I also think along the lines of if you really like the front of a DC2 Type R, buy a DC2R, don't try and make your Prelude look like one. When the real thing is so easily available, it makes no sence to piss fart around with aftermarket parts and fabrication. I mean, perish the thought if you ever snot the thing; all that work down the gurgler.

Re: front end conversions

How is any progress ever supposed to get made if you don't think outside the box and push the envelope?

Re: front end conversions

I don't have a problem with pushing the envelope; more than happy for people to do it. Just dont expect me to like it. Which is beside the point anyway, since I constnatly tell people to do whatever it is that they like, who cares about what anybody else thinks.

Re: front end conversions

That was mainly directed at the "Get the car with the front end you want" comment. Honestly, I think the ITR front end on the 5G looks really cool. To each his own though. I can respect that.

Re: front end conversions

yeah i think the ones that look nice for the 5th gen are the ITR and the 4th gen front, otherwise i can see a couple more people looking into the hood extention like the picture above....
