fluctuating idle and vtec all caused by me

i know im new and wish i had something to offer to you guys but at the moment i need your help..

what i have: 98 prelude sh 120k stock but intake/headers.

just recently i decided to change my cam shaft seal and valve gasket. doing so i removed the cam shaft cover, replaced the cam seal, and replaced the cam shaft cover. when replacing, i tightened the bolts to torque and the followed the pattern, cam cover bolts that is.

now my idle fluctuates when i warm up and my car bogs only in vtec (after 5000)

my first assumption is valve clearance somehow got messed up or maybe the torque wrench wasnt right cause its 15 years + old

please help me out guys

guaranteed you forgot to put a vacuum hose, or a regular hose back correctly.

you either forgot the PCV hose which goes from the right rear of the valve cover to the intake manifold, or the return hose from the left rear of the valve cover to the intake. check both of those.

basically either way its a vacuum leak somewhere,
and its header not headers
