Icon5 Questions about replacing factory stereo head unit :p

Hey everyone,
I was just wondering if there is anything I need to know about the wiring when replacing the factory head unit in my '97 Prelude SH. I was just curious if there is a factory amp unit installed and if its a pain in the ass to work with.
Thanks :)

no there isnt a factory amp unit. You might need a wiring kit and an install kit.

Re: Questions about replacing factory stereo head unit :p

theres a pre-amp located in the trunk, wired to that is a mini board that connects to ur factory speakers. most people when they change their stereo take it out, but i was able to re use mine.
but yeah you can find a kit to work any radio in the prelude, its a harness that u splice and connect the wires too. Jus remember to solder the wires together cuz after time black tape mite come loose.
