sorry i think i meant to say 235/45/17 I must have mis typed I just looked up how the measurements work and they are 17 inch tyres, but they're 8,5 inch wide which I think is pretty wide for a lude but if I can fit them that would be pretty mean

If they do fit, you will have major (read: MAJOR) rubbing problems ALL the time. Don't do it.

Edit: Just to give you an idea, I rub a lot with my 17x7's on (215/40/17 to be exact).

205/40/17 tires fit on mine well before I had to take them out because of faults. 17 in rims are a bit big and they look better if the tires are thin.

Yeah I just want it to handle better 17's are meant to be the highest you go on prelude but 205 tyres just aren't wide enough need something wider so theres no way I can make the wheels fit?

Re: Will these wheels fit?

Spacers are...well...just that. Spacers you add in between the hub and the wheel to widen your stance.

Rolling your fenders is basically just pushing them out farther to accommodate a wider tire.

I think you need to be more concerned about the lug pattern which right now I'm not too sure what yours are right at the moment hang on

Offset: HPO, Lugs: 5 x 114.3

There you go

I would have to say no they will not work, actually why would you want to put wheels from a RWD to a FWD? You like the staggered wheel arrangement? then I would suggest you find a RWD.

Also unless its a typo on your part, a tire size 235/45/15 will not fit on a wheel size 17X8.5 Your talking about a 17 in rim and a 15 in tire.

Also a 8.5 wide rim is too much for our offset these wheels will either rub the fenders or the suspension or both.
