Need Tire Help

I just bought a set of 17x7.5 wheels for my 01 prelude and i need advice on what spec tires to get so that i do not have any unwanted rubbing occuring.

I was thinking 215/40 but tires are not my thing. Any kind of advice of size specs or even make and model tire would be excellent!

not sure but I think 215 might be a little wide for the lude unless your offset corrects for the wider tire. Plus you will have to be careful of going inside the wheel well too much as it may hit over things like the A arm (I think thats what it is called) for the profile, I'd say you would be okay with a 45 using 17's if you go 40's you'll have issues with your speedo calibration. I'm not sure what the stock wheel size demensions are I think they might be 16X6.5 or is it 7 I have no idea. But if its 7.5 same as what you are putting on I'd stick with the 205's
