Your mechanic better have good insurance to cover up his messup(s) 5 mins seems like it would be 100% his fault for screwing something up

I also suggest you not go to this mechanic anymore

Re: h23 vtec eats belt

Yea, I have the manual belt tensioner on my h23a vtec and it fit perfect. The belt is very snug as well.

That's like last mech. My friends 92SI went to. It blew the head and water pump 2 days after leaving shop... Turned out there was 4 bolts inside the oil pan.. Why?? Don't know. But it'll never go to another mech again

Re: h23 vtec eats belt

Im in savannah, i took it to a tuner and he said he did not reset the tensioner, and the belt is wayyyy to tight. Its been 10 years from the time i used a mech and im sure it will be 10 more before i do it again. Ty guys for everything, i did the dizzy off your forum. If anyone is in the area i will come help turn wrench's for free to learn preludes and just cause its fun
