Re: need help

Ah brother, I guess if I were to visit my brother he lives in knoxville. I guess I could help you out. Now one question, are all the parts there, like wire harnessed are still intact as far as you know?

2. do you have an automatic or 5 speed, now are you sure the engine you have has the same thing? One way to tell is look at the back of the motor is there a flex plate (automatic) on it or is there a flywheel (5 speed) If you have the 5 speed and the flywheel is there take it off and have it resurfaced, also get yourself a clutch kit, check the rear seal good you might want to replace that as well. Do you know about the engine like last time it had a timing belt replaced that sort of thing? This would be the easiest time to have all that done before you install the motor.

Oh man there are so many issues, to resolve before you go about dropping the motor in, unless you just want to drop it in an hope for the best, but myself I would replace all that stuff and do all that work so I would know halfway what I got.
