Re: what size piping for my exhaust?

i had a 2.25 on when i first bought my car, then i got some dc sport headers with a 3inch and i love the sound it makes though the sound is more realated with the muffler but it did make it a deeper tone. i couldent really notice a big diffrence but i havent had it dynod it

Backpressure is bad. Get those spent gases out of the system as easily as possible. Go 4.5"

Don't do 4.5.

You should have at least 6 inches of clearance on the underside of your car if you include measuring the body indentions your exhaust fits into. Go with 5.5in

Don't listen to these newbies! If you want serious power, you're going to need some 5 gallon buckets. Cut the bottoms out and super glue them together and then wah lah! Performance!!!!!
