help please? (power locks)

well my power locks work. the thing is, when i press to unlock it its supposed to light up once and when i press to lock it its supposed to light up twice. but now when i lock it, it only lights up once. and there is a little red light on the center console right below the shift which usually blinks while its locked and doesnt blink when it's unlocked. now it blinks every 2 seconds when its unlocked and while the car is running. im trying to be descriptive as i can. is there anybody out there that would know what the problem is? thanks!

Re: help please? (power locks)

Be more specific!!! Manufactured alarm or aftermarket alarm?!?!

I had that issue with my aftermarket alarm(Prestige) and it turns out that I had reprogram the alarm and that was it!!! Bc I too ad an issue with my alarm being that it was somewhat backwards!!! Everytime I would press to LOCK it would attempt to lock but shortly after unlock and when I unlocked it didnt do anything at all!!!
