Prelude SRS airbag

I bought a 2000 prelude and the guy took offthe stearing wheel to put on a MOMO one. I'm a it scared of not having the airbag so I put back the OEM stearing wheel. Though, the SRS airbag light stays on. I found some way to reset it but I want to be sure that the airbag will work. What can I do?

Re: Prelude SRS airbag

My first guess would be to check from the impact sensors back. Make sure everything is hooked up right. Before you touch anything involving SRS, make sure you unhook the battery and let it sit for at least a half hour. If the airbag deploys in your face you will be in serious trouble.

you can do what this guy says, or you can drive really fast and crash into something.
