ATTS problems

Hi all!

Im new to the forum, ive just bought a 5th gen prelude last week, and i love it. Its a ATTS model, but currently the ATTS light is on (ever since i bought it ).

The car has 18'' rims, as well as koni adjustable shocks. Could this be the reason the ATTS light is on?.

Im yet to retreive the code, currently d/l the helms manual for this model.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Re: ATTS problems

I have an 01 atts model. its been lowered and i have 17 inch 5zigen rims. and my atts light is on too. When i bought i asked him what it was. he explained atts and told me, because it was lowered, and because of the wheels is why its on. and it made sense to me. so i believed him lol. ive had my car over and year with my atts light on and its never caused any problems for me.

Re: ATTS problems

You are missing out on the ATTS though, it's just dead weight if it isn't working.

Running Honda Access suspension here on 17" EP3 wheels (with 215/45's, so they are actually bigger) and the ATTS still works fine. I suggest that you both pull your codes.

Re: ATTS problems

rhangman is right both u guys should pull your codes to find out what the problem may be. just because you have coils, springs or an aftermarket suspension altogether doesnt mean the car should throw a light. but its possible a dumbass who did the work to the suspension before you guys got your cars could have ****ed somethin up. and i highly suggest you get your atts fluid flushed, it should be done every 90k depending on weather conditions even sooner, i did my atts fluid change and its also goof for preventative maintenance purposes. there is a code manual on the forum somewhere
