Front passenger seat problem!

I noticed when I was vacuuming out my car that my passenger seat when the lever to fold the back rest down and slide the seat forward will not slide the seat forward. I did take the seats out to clean and i did see a spring that was loose and i thought i put it back in the right spot. Does anyone know how to correct this problem?

I really need your help!

Thanks,
Brad

Re: Front passenger seat problem!

There is a cable that goes from the lever on the side of the seat (the one that a rear passenger can reach from the back seat) to the inner seat track. The cable pulls on the inner seat track lever (releasing it so the seat slides forward from the spring tension). This is only applicable on the pass seat (the drivers seat DOES NOT slide forward when the seat back is brought forward).

Re: Front passenger seat problem!

This spring on my passenger seat is disconnected. Can anyone tell me where in the front of the seat it hooks? Its still hooked and hanging from the back but seems like it needs to be hooked somewhere on the front end.

Re: Front passenger seat problem!

When I took my passenger seat out I released it was lose, it wasn't connected to anything but everything still works as far as I'm aware. Or am I missing something?

Re: Front passenger seat problem!

Well the spring im referring to is what draws the seat forward when the seat is folded. Im gonna go to honda tomorrow if no one post how to fix it. The dealer is only about 2 min from my house and I know they have the diagram to show me how.
