taking apart the center console

Does anyone know the step by step to taking the center console apart so I can replace my shift boot? Any write ups?

Thanks a lot!

Brad

There is like 2 screws in the back...gota move the seats forward to get them. Then you take the 2 carpet pieces off. One is where your obd2 scanner is one on the drivers side, there is a screw in each of those. Unscrew the shift knob and pull it out.

It's only you!!!

There should be 2 screws underneath the radio console. One is next to the OBDII n the other is on the opposite side on the driverside.

Then there should be 2 on both left and right of the gearbox.

Then slide both seats forward and you should see on both sides a screw.

Finally that back panel itself has a screw on both sides.

After doing so then lift off that back panel and then begin to lift the center console n slide the console towards the back of the car. Mind you that duringthat time or before removing the console that it would help to remove the shift knob.

That's as clear as i can be with describing off the top of my head!!!
