Re: suspention approval

someone correct me if i'm wrong but I'm pretty sure the SH has different suspension than the base. that package looks like it's for the base, considering it's meant for the 92-01

i've used tokico. if you're looking for performance, thats not the kit to get. it was a mediocre improvement.

ive read somewhere on here that you can use the same after market shocks that the base uses as long as the springs aren't stock.. im not 100% on it tho, and also are the skunk2 springs compatible with tokico shocks.? might be a stupid question but i just want to be sure.. thanks

Re: suspention approval

Those shocks are great! idk bout those springs, cuz i got those springs on my car wit some kyb shocks and my car is very bouncy. Maybe its becuz i need better shocks (thats wat been told) but tokico are really good, so maybe they will work good together wit the skunk2's... i was recommend Koni yellow ground coilovers, heard they were the best for ludez, look into it tho before anything.

Re: suspention approval

i was using the tokico springs. then if thats all you're looking for then you'll be happy with tokicos. however i would never mix and match springs and shocks from different companies. thats how you get a bouncy ride or ride is to harsh. its all preference though. it should be about what you like or what you want. and if thats all you're looking for is something thats gonna handle some lowering, then you probably shouldn't be going that low. 1.5" is all you need. especially if you're not looking for performance.

well to be honest i don't really need coil overs that's just extra money i could use for my fogs not only that it would be to stiff of a ride..

how low is a 1.5.? i want the tire to be flush with the fender in front and rear and in the same time i don't want it bouncy or super stiff to the point where im going to feel the ants i run over.. i dont really have much money to spend on my car so i have to really budget so im guessing this is my best bet.? Re: suspention approval

1.5 won't be flush. but it will be close. you'll be closer to a 2" drop to be flush. the tokicos won't get you there. the back was about a 1.5 drop and the front was about a 1.2" drop. it might be slightly different with 4th gens though.
