Auto Tranny display/side marker LEDs?

I have searched multiple forums and haven't found an answer as to the correct bulbs to use to replace the Auto Trans lights. The question has been posed a couple times in different threads and no response was given. I want to do all the lights on the interior and some exterior lights. Wanted to ordered them all
at once. Are the bulbs for these two (Trans display, side markers) areas the same as the other bulbs listed such as #74 Autolumination tri-Led? Thanks

Thanks bro. I have all the correct bulbs for everything else now, besides the Auto Trans display. Does any know the right bulbs and how many that are needed for the display?

IIRC you would need to take out and solder in leds into the auto trans lights.

edit: looks as if the bulbs from the cluster should light the auto trans anyways...so no worries..

Re: Auto Tranny display/side marker LEDs?

Lazer, you say the cluster lights should be cool in the trans display? Sorry to be such a NOOB. I had previously searched the thread that was linked. Obviously I had missed what was listed about the Trans display bulbs. I have checked out PP, PO, and PZ (of course) for the correct bulbs. Still can't seem to find the listing or pics of the LEDs for the driver's & passenger's window switches. I know I have seen pics of them installed, but can't seem to find it now. You know, it would be kinda stupid to not try to order all the bulbs at once. So one last question. What bulbs are needed for the 3 window switch lights?

I see that you found: INT: 5th gen - The FINAL LED Conversion Thread

That was where I was going to refer you to. Looks like more neo wedge type A's...I havent done those switches. Probably won't either. It is the biggest pita to get the mirror switch our of the driver's side door panel. But hey....you may not need to take it out, then it wouldn't be that big of a deal...

Anyways, good luck with the conversion. Post up some pics when you finish.

I really want to do all the lights. I wanted to paint the plastic trim that surrounds the switches/buttons but, I believe that would be as you said a PITA! It would make the most sense to try to do both small projects at the same time. I'm afraid of f---ing the sh-t up. Do you know if the plastic piece can be freed from the surrounding electronics/door panel?

Re: Auto Tranny display/side marker LEDs?

Would that diagram would be in the Helms? Need to look for the proper door panel removal/installation instructions. I have already removed the driver's side and put it back on. It isn't tight at the bottom though. Then again, the s--t wasn't to begin with. Somebody raped her before I got her. Lazer, I bet you are the closest member to myself. Just guessing.... Ft. Walton is around a 2hr drive.
