What color should i paint it?

So here's the deal: I have a 98 Nordic Mist Type SH with bubbling on the right QP, two pretty deep scratches on my trunk lid, and then other little blemishes so i was thinking of getting it repainted. I was thinking of just painting it Nordic Mist again so I won't have to do the engine bay and door jams but I really like the EBP. Do you think it would look terrible in EBP with Nordic Mist door jams and engine bay? I really dont thing the bay would be a big deal since people are always painting their bays different colors but the door jams are what i'm worried about. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Re: What color should i paint it?

well unless you're getting a carbon fiber hood and trunk i wouldnt want to repaint it a different color, especially if you wanted to go darker.

Re: What color should i paint it?

you notice it more if, for example, you have a light color like white or silver, and then you go ahead and paint the whole car a darker color like ebp or black.

Re: What color should i paint it?

and not many people have the original nordic mist color, they either have it painted more of a silver color. i say keep the nordic mist unless you really dont want it. me if i had the money to paint it i would do it that lexus grey color.

I would honestly just have the car painted the same color.

Re: What color should i paint it?

keep it the same colour...painting a different colour is not easy and can be a major ball-ache..not to mention expensive and time consuming..also it reduces value when and if you ever decide to sell it!

That's your best bet Jose. If you was going to paint the engine bay and door jams then i say go for it. It would look tacky if you didn't. It is more expensive and time consuming so understand that. You made the right choice. Good luck. Do you have a shop in mind?

Gary's guys did an amazing job. Hit him up and see what's up. He might charge you $1,500. (Stock color. Give or take. Depends on paint/.) If you come out more you would of seen his car in person. Check it out in his profile. I also have this new shop I'm going to check out in LI. I'm going to go there to have my bumper touched so I'll let you know how he does.
