Car dying...

Okay I did a search I swear I just couldn't find one that matched what I was trying to say.

This has happened 3 times over 2 months...so no biggy...Yet. Just wondering what you think of it and what I might be looking at in the future for a repair.

I was turning into a parking stall one time and the other time i was flipping around in a parking lot and I pushed the clutch in all the way both times and the car just died after a few seconds as if I had turned off the motor. Opinions? Anyone had a similar problem?

2nd problem

I had my timing belt done about a month and a half ago...ever since it has made like a whinning noise..I assumed this was because it was a brand new belt...but a month and a half later still going strong. I mean its cool sometimes to think other people think its a turbo but who knows =P ahha

Re: Car dying...

1) original clutch and flywheel?

2) ask whoever did the timing belt job if they also replaced the auto tensioner.

Re: Car dying...

Okay, yes it's the same clutch as far as I know. But is in no way showing signs of slipping. Did the 50 mph test and it passed with flying colors. What does it take to repair the throw out bearing if that is it?
