Aftermarket Tail Lights

Are Altezas the only ****ing aftermarket tails lights for 5th gen ludes? My stock are getting old and I would like to replace them but I like the stock style and hate Altezas. The red plastic is cracking on both lights... No one makes OEM stock style lights?

Re: Aftermarket Tail Lights

altezzas are the easiest to find if ur looking for aftermarket and also the gayest, i suggest just tinting the stock ones if u wanna do anything at all to them.

that didn't really answer his question at all. I've never seen an oem looking aftermarket light. I've seen oem ones on eBay though for like a c note a light. that's prob your best bet

No those usually are aftermarket ones and they usually have a clear turn signal (no amber lens).

Re: Aftermarket Tail Lights

I saw some S2K's tail lights. I'll try and find the pic.
hang on.

I hope that worked. I like that look.

I don't know yet how to mod this looks like alot more metal between the tail lights though. also not to mention the corners that wrap around the sides looks like some serious fiberglass work.

it would be so cool if they dropped right in.

Uhm... that is cool. Haven't seen that mod yet. The thing is that I like the stock tail lights, =p. And although I'm totally going for the S2K prelude look, that might be a bit much. Next thing you know I would be user S2K headlights too!

Re: Aftermarket Tail Lights

My personal reccomendation would be to find some OEM's in a partout/forsale thread on here n then paint em. I've also never seen any OE style aftermarket lights for our cars. About the LED conversion tho....any write ups on how to? I'm interested lol

Re: Aftermarket Tail Lights

You won't find LED ones on the market, any you see are custom made.

Re: Aftermarket Tail Lights

Problem with getting them from a part out or what not is that they are going to be as old if not older than the ones I already have. That's a nice looking lude, I like the color with those LEDs.

Re: Aftermarket Tail Lights

Old second hand parts...the joys of owning old cars!

But it's like that bloke with his 200k mile engine, if it's been looked after and in good condition it won't matter that it's old. Same with getting a set of tail lights at a junk yard - if they've been looked after and in good condition nobody will notice.
