Icon11 Fuse Box

Sorry if this is a repost, I did search but didn't come up with much pertaining to my situation. Also, not sure if this is in the right section
Anyway, I have a 5th gen lude and i'm trying to wire up my amp. I read about the grommet behind the fuse box that comes out into the passenger foot well. That would be great...if I could get to it...you see, I can't get the bolts holding the bracket that are behind the fuse box...I don't have a ratchet small enough to squeeze back there...and i tried pliers but the angles too weird if that makes any sense at all...so I'm wondering...am I just dumb or has anyone else had a problem like this?

Re: Fuse Box

ya, i totally disregarded that little grommet. what i did for my power wire was to run it from the battery, through the inside of the fender. then i found a grommet behind a trim piece in the passenger footwell

Re: Fuse Box

ok check it out. find the grommet in the foot well (pull carpet out) push it out with a screw driver (or whatever) dont even try to put it back in if u dont want to remove the fuse box. run the wire from the inside.

Re: Fuse Box

thanks for the replies. could someone actually take a picture of where this grommet is/where the wires run so i can get a better idea of how to run these things?
