Rear license plate question

I was fooling around with the bulb above the rear license plate and i got to thinking. shouldnt there be some sort of plate to cover up that hole? I was wondering if anyone could show me theirs. I looked up the parts and i think i found something that it could be its part 15 here:

South Bay Honda - Honda Automotive Parts Store

Thanks for all the help!

Brad

Re: Rear license plate question

i believe its part 35.. its hard to tell from the picture

but yah there is suppose to be a plastic piece covering the light bulb. the plastic piece should be held on to the bumper by two screws.

sorry to change the topic, but i have a panel of LEDS that has the head as the same light bulb used for the license place. since the panel of LEDS dont have a cover, willl it be ok if i place the panel WITHOUT a cover on the bumper, water will get to the led panel

From: HOW TO: 5th Generation LED Conversion - Preludepower.com

Thats it. Best bet would be from someone parting their car...well that'd be the easiest...

And to above question, thats kind of common sense...water and electronics typically don't like each other...with VERY few exceptions to my knowledge...

I was not talking about the plastic dome around the light. I am talking about the empty space behind the light. It seems like there should be something covering that gap.

Negatory ghost rider the pattern is full!

Like I said. Thats it. There isn't anything else in the bumper and the bulb has a really good seal into the socket, why should there be anything else up there? That would be unnecessary...aka you're good bro, don't worry about it.
