prelude timing belt and ATTS

Well i got my timing belt fixed and the full tune up etc. and now my car passes smog but..
my atts light is the only thing on now. my uncle said that its leaking the atts fluid when he put it in(idk if its oil or some other special fluid for the atts but that dont matter since i dont want to call my uncle at this time just to ask what it is) but yea i guess its leaking the fluid. ive searched and read that it drives fine like that but i'd like to know what should i do? i dont want to pay to much to get it fixed if its not a big problem that i can put off for a bit till i get more money. also when i hook up the obd2 scanner when it shows the codes should it show stuff bout the atts problems also? thanks in advance.

(and dont say search, i've done it for 15 min and doing it right now also lol)

Re: prelude timing belt and ATTS

Yes the ATTS ECU will also throw codes. Not a problem to wait if you don't mind not having ATTS.

The ATTS unit I believe uses Honda ATF.
