weird noise???

i cant really tell where its comin from
when i crank the car about 20-30 seconds later i can hear a weird humming noise. anyone have an idea what it is??? i just got the car today and am mechanicaly inclined i just dont know a WHOLE lot about these cars

Well there's gotta be more info for ppl to be able to help you. A noise from where? in cabin? under the hood? Some times if belts aren't tight it makes noises. altenator has strain has noise etc gotta be more specific

well i dont have a video of it, but when only does it after that car has moved about 10 feet right after i crank it, it sounds like its coming from the engine bay, but i'm not totally sure, it does it for MAYBE 1.5 seconds, if i can get an accurate video of the sound i will post it but i dont know if i can. its like a hum but i can feel it to. it stumps me and everyone that gets in the car with me thats even half way mechanically inclined

from that description sounds like the abs, mine is pretty noticeable compared to other cars i have driven

nailed it. mine seems a bit louder then most too.

but yes, it's completely normal. it should do it within a few seconds of when you start driving. its your ABS system doing something.. a test or something i dunno. nothing to worry about.
