Rear Upper Control Arms?

Ok.. So I'm burning through my rear stock wheel tires. I'm at maybe 5k miles on Brand spanking new tires in the rear and they are completely bald on the inside and passanger side has exposed steel belts.

A coupe days ago I've noticed a wobble. Like a wagging tail kinda motion at slower speeds and I started to notice a bad vibration in the body @ 40-50mph. Also when I hit potholes or wet spots my ass slips out.

Now my PSI is even all around & I've been aligned.

I have 2miles on the new tires. The front tires still have the marking on em. They're about 90% tread compared to -2% in the matching rear tires.

So the question. Bad rear upper control arms? Hmmmmm.

Thanks in advance guys.

I bottom out when I hit holes in the earth. I didn't put my bump stops on. Other than that nothing out of the ordinary sound wise.

I'm on GCs & AGX's. Less than 3k miles on em.

I'm going to try and put it on a lift tonight and check out the arms in the rear. Last thing I need is for it to completely fall apart on 95. :(

I like it. I'm usually on 2 or 3. I never set it to 4 yet, but overall smooth ride. Up until this whole mess happened.

Re: Rear Upper Control Arms?

If there's a wiggle in the rear then it def sounds like something is loose in the rear end. This would cause the abnormal tyre wear despite the alignment being right.

Re: Rear Upper Control Arms?

my car i believe has bad read upper control arms, and it has a loud knocking when i hit any type of bump, well we are assuming its that because we tried other things and the noise has still been there, so im not sure if that is what is causeing your problem
