RSX seats VS. S2K seats

I originally was going for BRIDE graduation seats but since the current market of rip off seats has been booming i don't want to chance it. So which brings me to Plan B RSX or S2K seats. I have the write up to swap the seat pans to make the S2K's recline-able but was wondering if anyone could shed some light on if ones better than the other.

RSX-S Seats Installation & Review - Honda Prelude Forum - Prelude Online.com

I dont remember where the other thread was but damn i should have bookmarked it but i believe FFX would know about the seat pan swap on the RSX seats. Maybe the S2k write up would work for the RSX seats Vs. custom rails

Honda Prelude UK :: View topic - S2000 Seats Installation

Edit: Not sure if this is right but one guy posted he couldnt swap the pans on the RSX seats because they are welded together because of the airbag.........?

Re: RSX seats VS. S2K seats

IMO the only pro the s2k seats offer over the rsx seats is that they come in red (and thats only if you think red would look cool in your car). Plus the s2000 seats are pretty expensive, I would just go with the rsx seats, they are pretty sweet.

All about your man, its your ride. If you have leather already. I havn't sit in a S2K but I have sat in the 04 RSX type S and those seats are great. So its about your preference really not ours. I think either seats would look great.

Re: RSX seats VS. S2K seats

I wanted to put S2K seats in my 4th but I just can't justify spendin around $1000 for a pair of seats lol. But if u have the money I'd say S2K seats. I love the way they look.

Re: RSX seats VS. S2K seats

I have to say, my RSX's seats are incredibly comfortable, after driving my prelude for 3 hours my ass was asleep. I've done a 6 hour trip in my rsx and my ass feels fine...take that how you will.

^ lol i vote for rsx seats unless you are willing to pay an arm or a leg for s2k seats. the only way that i think you should get the s2k seats if youre looking for red interior.

It use to have pics write up's suck without pics. Sorry about that.

On a side note i tried to purchase S2K seats and was outbid the last 5 minutes of the auction. This is the second time this has happened. This **** is frustrating. I have been thinking about trying out the RSX seats but im not to sure about the custom bracket technique.

Apparently you can swap the seat pans from the Prelude to the RSX seats. I haven't done it but people have said it can be done.
What I did was cut the mounting points off the Prelude rails and then welded them on to my new seats. Really easy to do.
