wheel rubbing

Ok, some of you know my situation. I bought my 01 'lude type sh about 6 weeks ago. has 65,000 miles on it (and I found out yesterday it is still on the tires it had from the dealership way back in 2001). I have been noticing the wheels rub whenever I: corner moderately hard or go over certain bumps. I'm wondering if this is common or if the struts/springs have had it. As I've said in other posts, I don't want to lower the car, but I want to stiffen her up. Please either throw in your .02 or post links to threads that address this issue, because I haven't been able to find it. Thanks guys.

Josh

P.S. I finally threw on my Sparco Drift series rims and they are sick!!!! pictures coming soon.

Re: wheel rubbing

yeah, though not as much. I put new tires on as well, potenza re 760's and there is considerably more rubbing.
