prelude bottoming out issue

hi i own a 1997 honda prelude, full suspension coilovers, shocks bought the car tuned and fully adjusted and was wondering why it bottoms out over some bumps like the suspension bottoms out too easily, but i have a nice stiff ride, just seems like the shock bottoms out too easily

What kind of coilover suspension are you running also how low is suspension set. What K are you running in the front and rears and what size tires and rims are you running.

Re: prelude bottoming out issue

can you provide a picture of how low it sits even a picture of the coilovers? you might be able to swap the top hats to allow for a little more suspension travel. With 205/50/16 and your bottoming out i know your suspension i set pretty low.

i take it your bottoming out in the front with out knowing the type of Coilover you are running the only thing i can suggest is raising it or running a smaller tire

Re: prelude bottoming out issue

If your kit is meant for 2'' or more drop and the amount you paid, this should not be happening if they were installed properly. Now i think you said you werent sure of the name but do you remember the colour? Most green coilovers are tein, black are eibach, orange are D2. Just some ideas that it could be. This isnt always the case so dont anyone jump on a post a reply saying how BS and what not this is.
