Re: Foggy Windows...???

you have the keep the AC on with your defroster on. it gets rid of the fogginess ASAP. something about the condensor getting rid of it or something

does your defroster work? I found out early this year that mine wasn't working. So i just found the fuse, sure enough the fuse was blown. It works really well now, lol.

Totally wouldn't recommend that rain-x stuff on the interior. It reeks really bad and worsens the situation. I put it on last year and was blind the whole way home pretty much in a stinky car, that was with the heating on full go aswell.

Re: Foggy Windows...???

Many many people forget to check that the linkage isnt damaged and the servo's are able to freely move. There are two in your car...one for Fresh air (passenger footwell)and one for output control. (drivers foot well above the accelerator pedal.

I had this fogging problem but only because the control arm for the HVAC was getting jammed up in the bracket, thus not allowing me full defrost, floor, or otherwise. It is a rickety lil set up, but it works when aligned properly.

Re: Foggy Windows...???

I had a friend that tried using that window treatment stuff on the inside to prevent fogging, he said he didn't work worth crap and just made it more difficult to see out of. I was having some problems with fogging and not being able to get my windows very clean on the inside as well. My parents had some TV screen cleaner stuff that came with a microfiber towel, used that on the inside of the windows and it removed all the film residue from the inside and it was MUCH better.

Re: Foggy Windows...???

i had foggy windows and so did my friend in his lude and this sligth mildew smell but very faint. check under your back seat you might have water chilling under there which can cause the windows to fog up. i know this sounds stupid but its true moisture in the car can cause windows to fog.
