Icon5 Vlave Cover Paint Scheme

ok so i was brainstorming last night an kept on thinkin of somethin that would be really unique to have painted on my valve cover. so i was thinkin....and i want to have it look like hte valve cover isnt even there, but im havin a problem findin a picture of the valve cover removed and the cam retainers(idk wtf the are called but the things that are blockin the cams in the picture i provided) if any1 has a picture lyin around on their computer of their head taken off and the cam ratainers removed i would greatly appreciate it if you could post on here!!! ty for your time

Cam journals.

If you know someone that is talented enough to air brush it, that might be sick as hell.. as for a pick without the cam journals I do not have I'll look tonight when I get home from work.

Interesting. I would think that airbrush would be hard to keep clean especially if it is a daily driven car. A knick while cleaning or a solvent strong enough to clean may disfigure the art.

Thats why they make clear. I suggest doing at least three coats.

I had a similar idea...Instead when I have mine done( since mine started chipping) I'm going to have the guy paint the sides like what you mentioned. So that t looks like the vavle cover is just hangin out, flotin in mid air.


and a quick a google search for ya, reveals nothing. I'm sure there are plenty of folks on here with pics of their engine taken apart lol.

Yes, I was referring to a knick in the clear, not the actual VC itself.
