Tranny swap complete, some small issues...

Well after 6 months as a pedestrian, I finally got my car back yesterday (this one.. My nice and clean 5th gen 4WS )

After my auto box gave up on me with very low mileage on the car, the manual gearbox is now in and done. She runs smooth, gearchanges are slick and all is good.

However... a couple of things are not working in the car and Im not sure why.

Firstly though I'd like to point out that with this swap I am still using the auto ECU and we didn't even need to hack it. No CELs on the dash, idling is as it should be too.

In the engine bay the mechanic insulated (taped off) all the connectors that are no longer in use as they were the ones connected to the AT box when it was in. What I don't know is if we've taped one up that we still need to use, but if that's the case I don't see any unused sockets in the engine bay to connect them too.

OK, so the cruise control doesnt work to start with. The green light comes on when I engage cruise, but once I'm over 40kph and hit the 'set' button on my steering wheel, I get nothing. Dunno if its related but I have disconnected the transmission control unit that lies next to the CPU as I read it was no longer needed.
Also i think I get a flashing D4 light on my dash if I connect it. Will need to check that.

More of a priority for me is that the bloody car radio wont work ! I cannot see why though. I dont see how we touched anything to do with that.
The cable is connected to the battery, the fuses all seem to be ok (checked the one on the battery cable, the engine bay fuse box and the one behind the radio unit itself).
The radio is using the cars original harness to connect itself up to all the speakers. There is a seperate cable going to the sub.

Cigarette lighter isnt working either. That sits just below the radio obviously so Im wondering if there is a harness in the engine that we have taped up and not connected that relates to this. Or are all the radio harness wires just under the dash ?

Everything else works peachy. I need music though

Also I noticed after the swap that the clutch pedal sits quite high. I dont mean high up. Jeez, how do I explain this. OK you sit in the car and press the clutch in. Then you start to release it and when the pedal is at the top of its travel its about an inch higher than the brake and throttle.
Ive kept the larger auto brake pedal on for now and Im fine with it.
Next week we will put the smaller manual brake pedal on so maybe that sits just as high meaning only the throttle will be lower. I dunno.
Gotta remember also that the clutch pedal has 1/4inch spacers on it to avoid any slippage.

Once I put my shift boot on I will post some shots. Was going to photo the build but after we fit the gearbox I didnt bother with any more.

Any help (especially about the car stereo) will be much appreciated.
