Re: jdm h22a

Look for the year stamped on the block. 92-96 is obd1 and 97-98 is obd2.

This pic was found using google linking me to Honda-Tech.com

Re: jdm h22a

We are talking JDM here and the 5th gen came out in 96 there and I believe they were OBD2 from the start. Also my car is a '96 AUDM 5th gen ATTS, so it would also be OBD2.

...you kidding right? 5th gen came from 1997-2001. they may have started actually selling them in 96, but they and still a 97.

Re: jdm h22a

Call it whatever you want. Fact is that the engine blocks as per above will still have 96 stamped on them, mine does. Engine block, build date, rego, etc. are all '96 in my case. Can post pictures if you want. If I removed the heat shield I could get a nice one showing the above stamp along with the ATTS lines.

When searching or ordering parts I still usually have to enter 1997+ though.
