Bought new tires had to share

Michelin Primacy MXV4, these have to be the best tires I have ever put on a vehicle. Again firm believer in you get what you pay for, I just got finished at the shop all 4 tires, replaced both 02 sensors (was throwing a code bank 1 slow to respond), 4 wheel alignment, repalced both fan belts and a tie rod end (outer drivers side). Boy I love this car, it rides like it is brand new. Next purchase is the Tein Coilovers. Found a donor motor also, looks like plans for going FI is back on the table. Not sure if I want to do turbo or supercharge it.

Maybe I should put it to a PZ vote, what do you guys think?

Glad to hear about the Michelins. I've never tried them myself.

At least you understand where I am coming from, plus I am about to drive to Ghent, WV to Winterplace to go snowboarding and they are expecting 20 inches of snow. These even got an excellent snow and ice rating.

Not looking for a great boost in power, I still want a comfortable driving car. I what power right then and there so I'm starting to lean towards a Jackson Racing Supercharger setup, but still undecided.

Re: Bought new tires had to share

Turbo all the way. I would personally hate having to worry about changing the supercharger belt. Just get a tiny turbo lol.

Don't buy the cheapest Tein coilovers. Mine are shot after like 10,000 miles...

Re: Bought new tires had to share

ummm...Jackson supercharger...NICE!!!

My first car was a 1985 mercury cougar (which had a 5.0 V8 mustang engine)...and for my 16th birthday, as a SECRET gift, my grandfather put an Edelbrock supercharger on that beast! Despite being a cougar, that car was super wicked...and I even lowered it a bit for better handling, but let's face it----cougars are made to feel like you are floating---poor man's cadillac...LOL

Jackson racing makes a good supercharger...I def vote for the SC instead of the boost...but that's just me! ;)
