Auto window switch.

I was wondering if anyone had tried to make their passenger window go down on Auto like the drivers. Is it a simple case of gerring a replacement auto switch (like on the drivers side)?

You might need to wire in a couple of other cables but nothing to strenious I don't think.

Has anyone tried it? I'd like to see if it actually works before I start taking it apart

Thanks

Re: Auto window switch.

im not 100% sure but i believe it's controlled by a relay which is controlled by a chip... its certainly possible to do it though.

Not intending to revive this up but just a follow up reply. I actually agree that this is about the relay but you don't need to wired up some sort of things. I personally tried it on my pilot but i don't know if this would work on the prelude's window switch. anyway, it's advised to get the help of the mechanic..

Yeah I reckon it's got something to do with a relay. I could wire it up with a 12v relay but I'm worried about it stopping. I need to know what makes it stop when it reaches the top. Could it have a thermal overload that will cut power to the relay when it stops?
