Help needed.

I just picked up this ride not to long ago. I have no idea what this vacuum hose goes to or why its not connected to anything. If someone could please tell me or show me how theirs looks that would be awesome.

I also noticed that my connector here that connects into the external coil is missing some metal contacts inside. Im not sure if this is normal or not.

Re: Help needed.

well could you follow the vac line and tell us where it goes? not rocket science. but i'm putting my money on its for the diaphragm in the stock intake, which is now rendered useless since you have a CAI/SRI.

and how many wires does the receiving connector have? 3 or 4?

Re: Help needed.

Ive got another newb question. Ok so Ive been noticing this knocking kinda sound whenever I accelerate from a dead stop. It sounds like the suspension maybe but im not sure. Its only when I first start moving. Im not sure if this is normal or not.

Ok so I finally took off the coil to check it out and the receiving end has 4 metal connections. Im guessing I need to get a new connector but where do I get one?

Re: Help needed.

The saga continues. Between yesterday and today I got a CEL for the catalytic converter and misfires in cylinder 2 and 4 . On the way to school today I was cruising in low rpms and it seemed like my engine just quit working for a couple seconds and the would pick back up. It did this three or four times on the way to school ( 3 miles away). When I was leaving school to come back home I had to crank it a few times before the car would start, same thing when i was leaving to go to work. But when I was leaving work tonight to come home I couldnt start my car at all. I tried cranking it multiple times and nothing. It sounded like it wanted to start a few times but would just die. Im a little low on gas but not enough where the gas light is on. My battery is fine. Im going back up to my work in the morning with some gas, I hope no one messes with my $hit.

Re: Help needed.

Could it be the timing? The timing belt was changed at 90,000 I currently have 127,000.
