Fog light switch indicator light

So i got my ebay jdm replica fogs installed and i noticed the indicator light on the switch is always on. Not the flat bar when you push it to turn them on, but the little light with the lines coming from it. Is this a problem? Could it eventually drain my battery? Or should i not worry about this?

Re: Fog light switch indicator light

Always on? OEM there are two ways to wire it. One it gets power only when the lights are on, the other only when the ignition is on. Shouldn't be getting power if either of those conditions aren't met.

Re: Fog light switch indicator light

ok so i got that all solved and i went to adjust them once it got dark here and i noticed that one light's is alot brighter than the other...im just guessing the ground on the front needs to be better? and also i seem to of lost one of the nuts that helps hold the signal light when you screw it in. wondering what the name of it is when i go to advance tomorrow to get one?. ill circle it in the pic.

Re: Fog light switch indicator light

If you read, they said one light is brighter than the other. I'd probably start by swapping bulbs.

Re: Fog light switch indicator light

I don't see why this is a concern. Not like that light is gonna drain your battery.

I got that fixed I had the wrong plug in the wrong spot. Now one fog light is brighter than the other. Will check grounds when it stops raining
