5th gen fog light fuse keeps breaking?

5th gen fog light fuse keeps breaking?

the fog light stopped working all of a sudden. i checked fuse, and it was broken. i put in new one, it breaks withina minute, and i do that again. it was fine just a day ago... does anyone know the problem? the fuse is the same number as the original fuse. thanks

Is the electrical system shorting out somewhere? That'd be my first bet. Blowing fuses isn't a problem, it's a symptom. Check the entire wiring loom (or as much as you can)

what exactly do i check for when i check the complete wiring?

Anything that isn't like it should be. Bits of insulation missing, poor connections. The insulation might have worn away where the wire penetrates part of the body for example.
