Re: Silver Honda Prelude

you can do any color you want man. silver is one of those universal colors like black and white. it goes with everything. id paint everything black. but i dont like standing out that much

Re: Silver Honda Prelude

i have a silver lude myself. im going with the black and blue touch ups.

valve cover: black surface, blue rising sun with carbon fiber spark plug cover

stock rims: gunmetal on my part dont do black too many people do that.

brake calipers: blue black white silver haha...then again pink would be sweet

interior: i'd do black and grey leather.

then agian its your car so whatever you decide to do go for it. there are tons of pics here of memebers rides you can base your project on. goodluck

Re: Silver Honda Prelude

Personally I think silver is kind of tough. For the interior and under the hood you could do any color blue or red would be nice. In terms for the exterior I'd stick with something pretty mild. I'd stick with the stock amber side markers and blinker lights and would do yellow fogs. Stock rims I might do a bronze color. Brakes I'd do silver or matching bronze. Just my opinion

Re: Silver Honda Prelude

the red (wrinkle) valve cover is very popular and most are stock JDM. I guess they would look the best. But I have seen some custom paint jobs on them that look great.

For the rims, I kinda like the blades better than the 5 star SH rims, but thats just me. as far as color, I like the polished aluminum look, but mine have so much curb rash and the clear coat is peeling they look terrible, so they are getting replaced after tax time. Thanks Uncle Sam.

I went red with mine, save yourself some trouble get the dupli color that you paint on with that little brush, also get yourself some extra carb cleaner/ brake cleaner your going to need it. The one can that comes in the kit is just not enough.

i guess purple HID fogs would be cool. visibility would probably suck, idk. deceticon? do you mean decepticon? like transformers? lol if you do all that purple, it would be too much IMO. maybe purple calipers, valve cover (black spark plug cover), and fogs. id go with black rims still, and no logo on the VC
