Hey i was wanting to get the factory pinstripe put back on my car when i get the bumpers fixed, but i was wondering what came stock on them? Or if you guys think something other than the factory color would look nice chime in.

Thanks Flip

Re: EBP pinstripe color?

I would say (and so would many other members)
No To Pinstripes. I have never seen a EBP with them,
so I don't know if it is OEM or just an option.

IMHO I think it looks tons better without them.

Re: EBP pinstripe color?

I cant for the life of me find a picture of one with a pinstripe either. So im guessing its not OEM and a previous owner put one on after market then removed it. I can clearly see the marks where it was on there before hand. Im sick of seeing the 2 small lines where it was going down the side of my car still there!

Thanks, Flip

Re: EBP pinstripe color?

Just pick your favorite color and go to auto zone and get some. They are easy to do. Takes less than 10 min for both sides. I personally dont like them myself, my lude dosnt have one but my accord had one that was hand painted on so I couldnt really take it off.

Please explain more. I would like to have it look stock, i thought they originally came with them. Since they didn't I would like the fade marks of the old ones gone. Still need to find some rear mudflaps.

Thanks, Flip

nah, you need a rubbing compound for that. go to your local detailing shop, and you can buy rubbing compound its real easy. after you do that compound, just give it a nice wax

That is now on my list of car stuff to buy. Now if it would just warm I could do some of this!

Those things don't work worth a crap.
I used one once at the sign shop, and it
sucked balls. It was supposed to remove
the vinyl faster than a heat gun and plastic
razors. But I did it faster. All that wheel does,
that is not shown in the commercials, is spread
the vinyl around and make a simple job take
twice as long. When I removed vinyl, I would
either use the heat gun, or a steamer.

And he already has his off, he is just
seeing the shadow from where the
paint has faded from the stripe.

Only way he can get that 100% gone
is to lightly sand with like 3000 or better
wet dry sand paper, and then buff the
hell out of the car.
