Re: type s intake

from what I've heard, short ram is worse then stock on ours

type s is pretty much the same

reccomendations are normally to get a good cai

or if you are worried about hydrolock stick with stock and get a K&N filter)

well either one will be better then the short ram

so whichever option you prefer really (although I've heard the type s can be a bit of a pain to fit I forget why... don't quote me on that though)

Re: type s intake

just do like me, and pick up a cheap ass ebay CAI for like 40 bucks and throw a good filter on the end of it. just make sure its 3" pipe, most of them are, but i;d ask to sure

overall you save moeny too. i mean that set up ^ maybe $70, compared to AEM CAI = $230-250

Negatory... IIRC the AEM V2 has been dyno proven on our cars for the best gains, after that was stock w/ K&N drop in. Of course we're only talking a couple horsies worth of difference so the better choice would be to throw a type S and K&N on there and call it a day... And again, I could have those results mixed up but its been done by 98vtec.

Damn this is gonna bug me, I'm gonna go find those dyno charts now...I'm pretty sure I'm right though.
Edit: TA DA!! http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2049478 Which proves I was basically wrong Whoops! YAY for Fact checking! lol
