Need Help! Cluster light all gone!

Guys,
About a month ago, the cluster lights(odometer + central panel + AC) were all gone while I was driving at night.

I jiggled the headlight turn on stick(the one on the left hand) and the cluster light all came back.

Last night.. it happened again and this time, it won't come back even if I jiggle the headlight switch.

What can I do? Anyone experienced the same thing?

Please help!

Main Dash Harness in the under dash fuse block has come loose it sounds like.

I dunno about the 5th Gen, but in the 4th there is a Blue 14 pin and some larger Gray colored harness' you should check.

Re: Need Help! Cluster light all gone!

Alright guys.. I bought the part and replaced it and no help...

I think it might has to do with my alarm... when I hit the remote control to lock/unlock the door, the cluster light blink twice.

I'm thinking that it could be bad installation of the alarm which cause it but the thing is.. the alarm was installed yrs ago.

Does anyone or anywhere online which I can see the electrical diagram of this car? I want to trace the wires and see where the poor/broken connection is.

Please help..

Cheers
Andy

More than likely it is not the alarm b/c all the alarm does is send 12V through the circuit when it needs to flash the lights...nothing else. It sounds like it is working perfectly. You can remove the main fuse to the alarm and then test (it's most likely an in-line fuse on a red wire feeding into the alarm brain under your dash). But I doubt that is the problem...unless..do the parking lights also flash when you arm/disarm the alarm? Or is it only the dash lights?

You can find your schematics here. I am betting a simple problem somewhere...the trick will be isolating the problem. Hope that helps, keep us updated.

When I armed/disarmed the alarm the parking light flashes as well. Everything seems to be working through the alarm... just no cluster light NOR tail light at night when I turn on the headlight switch(the headlight came on though) Please help!
