radiator bleed, radiators wont come on.

radiator bleed, radiators wont come on.

so i installed my new head, poured coolant and opened the bleeder on thermostat, coolant started coming out as a stream so i closed it.but the fans wont turn on, the car is warm, the tampeture is normal i dont know whats going on.Can someone help?

Just to make sure the fans work, turn the air conditioner on -- if they're getting power, both fans should start. In cooler weather, it seems to take alot to get the fan going -- you may have to let it run a good long time with the hood closed. If the temperature's normal, I wouldn't worry.

Ive seen it take a real loooooong time for the fans to come on, even after the car is at normal operating tempature. And this is normal. As the post above me said.. turn on the a/c to see if the fans come on. Once both radiator hoses get real hot, the fans then should kick on. But yes it can take some time.

i drove on it for a while then set it to idle for a couple min , only left fan came on.Im just being cautious i dont want to overheat while im driving.thanks
