Car stalled

Ive had my 98 prulude for about 6 years and it had about 180km on it. A few days ago i was doing about 50km an hour and it just stalled. I havent be able to start it since, it turns over really good but it just wont fire. Any idea why that would be?

well im no expert yet but.... fuel systems don't last forever ...and neither do spark plugs... any weird noises or smells or does it just turn over? check the fuel lines as well....could be something as simple as a broken gas gauge and u really just have no gas or could be as complicated as lost compression...more detail?

Re: Car stalled

Check if you have spark and fuel. Otherwise, it may be the coil like they said.

Re: Car stalled

take the plug that goes to the dizzy and stick it to your tounge... make sure you hold a good ground wire....

jk... dont do that... just take a spark plug out hold it to the block while the engine turns over and look for the spark... and see how bright it is... it should be a really bright and big spark..

Re: Car stalled

I pulled the plugs theres lots of spark and its getting fuel too..we had the value cover off the timing belt is all cracked and really lose im sure thats not normal..besides the belt being really worn is there any other reason why it would be so lose cause the arrows on the cams are in aligned right because it seems to me that the belt is jumping..but i guess i could be way off on this too

Re: Car stalled
