Skunk2 spring fitment issues?

Hello All,

need some help,

i bought some skunk2 lowering springs (new in box, not used) and worked on installing them yesterday. going by the "norm" the longer springs go in the front and the shorter to the back.

well, i install the front springs and notice the end of the longer spring isnt flat like the stock front one i removed, but yet the shorter skunk2 spring is. once Im done with the front, i start working the back shocks and when I go to mount the new skunk2 spring, there is literally about a 6" gap where the spring doesnt even fill the whole shock space. Im coming to the realization that I just mounted them backwards, but my car sits crazy low now even with the longer spring in the front. If I did indeed mount them backwards, my car will literally drag!

i've got a 97 lude, kyb shocks. has anyone had this issue? is there a problem with skunk2's and kyb shocks? i looked around and couldnt really find anything.

the box has the correct year for the Lude, as there is only 1 model made for them.

Im currently running just the front skunk2's with the stock rears.

thanks in advance,
Tony
