oil catch problem

I have a oil catch pan.... it leads from my throttle body to this container, to the pvc ontop of the engine......... i have no idea what it is for, but when i drained it today it had oil and coolant/water...........the dipstick is not milkey looking, and when i changed my oil 700 miles ago it was oil, not coolant/water/oil mix.....

one of my hoses leading to this container was not tightened all the way, could condensation have gotten in it and caused this?

i am leaking coolant somewhere, but i dont know where.....

exaughst does not smell sweet.

no oil or water/coolant is comming from the head....

is this one of those mysteriouse random issues?

Re: oil catch problem

i think some one installed the catch can wrong!

i think they hooked it onto the throttle body coolant line and the pcv instead of just the PCV, there should only be junky nasty oil in your catch can, not coolant.

double check you installation.
