Icon5 question about a new header

i currently have dc sport ceramic 4-2-1 header on my BB6... i want to get rid of them and get something thats the same as in sound and performance but dont need those smsp like headers.... i was looking at a megan header... wondering if there are cons? getting a greddy spectrum elite cat-back soon and wanted to just replace the whole exhaust system in one shubang... already have the megan hi-flow cat so all i need advice on is what header to choose there are a few ive seen a lot through searches and stuff... vibrant, megan, dc sport, then the hi end which i dnt have the budget for... please any info would be great...

thanks again guys

Re: question about a new header

well, if youre only going for sound, no real performance gain, i guess megan would be the way to go

Re: question about a new header

I have to disagree on the Meagan header. Had two headers on an Accord an Integra. BOTH gaskets blew and was a big hassle to run by the the exhaust shop over and over again to get a cheap replacement. The bolts were also all correctly torqued. Actually had to end up ordering custom gaskets that were thicker, and they haven't blown since *crosses fingers*. Just something to look out for, if you want to save money just get the Meagan because stainless steel is stainless steel, I have not had any issues with the actual headers themselves, only the horrible quality gaskets. As long as you find a way to remedy that problem, they are quite a bargain for what they are.
