How I spent my Sunday...

Well right when I woke up I was in the mood to work on my car. So I installed some parts and did some DIY. Heres some pics...

I installed my red Nology wires I got for my birthday!

I also installed my OBX R radiator hoses that I also got for my birthday.

Heres a pic of how my engine bay looks now. My next project is gonna be my valve cover. Hopefully i can find a DIY on that.

I also painted my faded trim piece where the wipers connect to and painted my actual wipers.

And lastly I painted my gauge rings silver! I looks soooo sexy!

What a great day it was!

GO EAGLES!!!!

Re: How I spent my Sunday...

twisty if you want to start fresh on the valve cover sand blast it...that will knock it down nice and smooth, then you can paint it and you wont get the whole bumpy honda painted look to it.

Re: How I spent my Sunday...

Here's a DIY for your valve cover, sadly it's in french, but here it is anyway if you can read a few words...

DIY - Peinturez votre valve cover - Club Civic Quebec :: Forum

I'll try to translate it the best I can sometime when I'm less busy !

edit : here is one in english lol took me 5 sec to find it.

http://www.hondaclub.com/forum/artic...-painting.html

might wanna sticky it if not already !

the part at the end where it says to put it in the oven to harden the paint, you can simply put it back on the engine and let run your car at idle for aprox 20 min. it will do the same thing.

lmfao!!! Well that's usually what I do on Sundays but this past Sunday I was full of energy to work on the Lude. Maybe cuz I wasnt hungover! Lol. Thanks man I really put some time into it. Next Sunday I wanna paint my calipers and and my valve cover red. Ohh and give it a good wash and wax. I also got a ding on my hood. But idk if I can take it out. That's my plan but let's see how I wake up on Sunday lol
