wtf is wrong

the other night i took a friend for a ride on the way back my car lost power and i got it to crank back up..when i got it on the driveway and parked i opened the hood and white smoke was everywhere but the car didnt over heat.. the next day i cranked it up and it was really rough running and puffing out white smoke...today i changed my spark plugs out and the pcv valve and i cranked it up and it still ran rough as hell... afterwards i pulled out a sparkplug that i just put in and it was black and fouled out already...what can i do...would it be b/c of the rear o2 sensor for my cat not being plugged in

Re: wtf is wrong

Your rear o2 sensor does nothing more than tell you if the cat is working properly, all it will do is set off a CEL.

Re: wtf is wrong

you can also check your prestone overflow container, if you see oil ( or grey stuff) floating on top of the prestone, that would mean a blown head gasket.

Re: wtf is wrong

White smoke coming out of the exhaust is a tell tale sign of a blown head gasket. Black smoke rings or valve guide seals. You might be seeing an early stage of blown head gasket, watch your temp gauge and if water in mixing into your oil I wouldn't drive it until you get it fix, unless you want to buy another engine and they aren't cheap.
